Govt Arts and Science College Chelakkara has a smart Women friendly room sponsored by Jilla Panchayeth Panjal.It consists of two cots with mattresses and pillows for girls to take rest,a glass top dining table with8 chairs,study table with four chairs,a recliner,water cooler,book shelf ,wash basin,sanitary napkin wending machine and incinerator.There is a dressing room set inthe classroom converted women friendly room.There are motivational messages along with photoes of Kalpana Chawla,Mother Theresa,Malala Yousuf Sai etc.
