PG DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE

Established in 2013, the Department has converted into PG Department of Commerce on 2019 and has continually excelled with a seven faculty. Our Department has more than 220 students. The Department offers a diverse academic experience. Our Department has both rank holders and students who have cracked the UGC NET. Alongside the Bachelor of commerce (Finance) program, the department has also introduced a Master of Commerce (Cost management), designed to meet the evolving demands of the contemporary business landscape. This newly introduced program holds particular significance, as it equips students with advanced managerial skills, strategic thinking abilities, and a nuanced understanding of global business practices.

A postgraduate program offering specialized tracks in accounting, finance, and marketing.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)-Finance

A comprehensive Undergraduate Program covering core area of Accounting, Finance, Economics, Marketing and Business Management.

Cost management

  • MCM3EC01: Cost and Management Audit: To enable the students to make sound decisions in the cost management based on audit process.
  • MCM3EC02: Cost Management and Control: To understand various cost management and control tools and techniques.
  • MCM4EC03: STRATEGIC COST MANAGEMENT: To enable the students to apply price fixing concepts in cost accounting in business problems.
  • MCM4EC04: COST MANAGEMENT AND PERFORMANCE MANGEMENT: To enable the students to understand the concept of cost control and cost reduction.
